SZA is willing to swap the stage for a storm cloud, sharing her aspiration to portray the iconic weather-manipulating mutant, Storm, in an origin story feature film.

“I would love to be a superhero!” SZA exclaimed. She went on to share that her father “collects first-edition comics,” and growing up, she developed a deep appreciation for both the Marvel and DC universes. Naturally, when it came to choosing a superhero role, she already had one in mind.

SZA made her film acting debut opposite Keke Palmer in One of Them Days and is looking ahead at a dream role she would like to play.
