After serving 15 years in various leadership roles in the Texas Tech University System and Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, Chancellor Dr. Tedd Mitchell has decided to take a step back.

Texas Tech Chancellor Tedd Mitchell has led the 64,000-student university system since 2018. His departure will mark the latest shake-up in the state’s higher ed leadership.
