The University of Arizona women’s basketball team is preparing to go on the road and play in Bramlage Coliseum against No. 11 ranked Kansas State University at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16. UA is looking to stay undefeated on the road in conference play.

Freshmen Mailien Rolf and Lauryn Swann earned the start over Skylar Jones and Paulina Paris. That change paid off as the Wildcats beat the Knights 75-53. Arizona started the game on a 10-0 run, including a three from Swann.

Arizona basketball is good again! For now. After a sluggish start to the season that saw the Wildcats’ offense sputter, defense lapse and big leads dissolve, Tommy Lloyd’s team appears to have righted the ship just as conference play began.
