China's foreign ministry dismissed as "groundless" on Friday an accusation by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy that the country had been supplying weapons to Russia.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry further pointed out that Ukraine itself has acknowledged the significant role of Western countries, particularly the US, in supplying military components to Russia.

Ukranian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused China of supplying weapons to Russia, including gunpowder and artillery. Zelenskyy also alleged that Chinese representatives are involved in weapons production on Russian territory.
