According to the New York Post, Seattle Mariners broadcaster Dave Sims is a finalist for a job with the New York Yankees.

Major changes could be coming to the Mariners broadcasting booth this offseason with longtime play-by-play voice Dave Sims thought to be a finalist for the Yankees radio broadcasting vacancy.

The Yankees are closing in on a replacement for legendary radio play-by-play broadcaster John Sterling. Mariners broadcaster Dave Sims is a finalist for the WFAN job, sources told The Post. Another source added he is “strongly in the mix.
