Despite having two of his own and the potential for another, Denzel Washington isn’t concerned with the Academy Awards. The actor, whose Spike Lee joint Highest 2 Lowest premieres Aug. 15 in theaters and Aug.

Denzel Washington, who has two Academy Awards to his name, recently said in an interview that he is "not that interested in" receiving the prestigious awards.

When interviewer Jake Hamilton replied, “I don’t think God ever asks how many Oscars do you have,” the actor then quipped with a laugh, “He [God] might go, ‘That’s why I gave you an extra week.’ [As] long as he says, ‘Now, get on up here,’ I’m all right.”
