Holders England survive Junior Kpoku's 20-minute red card to defeat Ireland in the Under-20s Six Nations opener 19-3 in Cork.

The Ireland squad to face England in Saturday's Guinness Six Nations Opener will be announced by interim boss Simon Easterby this afternoon. With Andy Farrell seconded on British and Irish Lions duty, defence coach Easterby has stepped into the breach and will lead the side throughout most of 2025.

Maro Itoje says England are "ready to go" as they bid to upset the odds by launching their Six Nations campaign with a defeat of twice defending champions Ireland in Dublin.
