With the Columbus Blue Jackets' Quarter-Century team being released by the NHL just a few days ago, it’s a good time to review it and compare it to my colleague Jason Newland's Blue Jackets' Quarter-Century team prediction.

The players selected to the Blue Jackets’ First Quarter-Century Team are forwards Rick Nash, Cam Atkinson and Artemi Panarin; defensemen Zach Werenski and Seth Jones; and goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky.

The National Hockey League is celebrating the first 25 years of the century by naming each franchise’s best team in that timespan and the Blue Jackets’ squad was named Thursday. Columbus’ quarter-century teams consist of the best players who suited up for the CBJ since 2000.
