CBS 17 was on the scene as the Durham Police Department began their search on North Holman Street near Wall Street around midnight Wednesday.

Durham police say two people are now in custody after a search for suspects in a weekend incident where shots were fired at a state trooper in Orange County, Durham police said. Police said Tuesday night that the North Carolina State Highway Patrol had taken a suspect into custody, and early Wednesday morning that another suspect was in custody.

A second suspect has been taken into custody for last weekend's chase in Orange County where a trooper was shot at, according to Durham police.
