The pedestrian, Christopher Rigler, 39, of New Richmond, suffered life-threatening injuries, police said. Rigler was transported to UC Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. Police did not release the name of the truck driver but said the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
