Although T-Satellite is a T-Mobile service, US users on rival carriers can access the satellite connectivity too for $10 per month. Here's how it works and how to sign up.

T-Mobile's T-Satellite internet service, powered by SpaceX's Starlink satellites, officially launched on Wednesday, July 23. The direct-to-cell messaging service that enables texting from anywhere isn't limited to T-Mobile customers -- AT&T and Verizon mobile customers can also purchase it for $10 a month.

Starlink is owned and operated by SpaceX, which is also run by Musk. Elon Musk ’s satellite internet service Starlink said it had a “network outage” on Thursday. The company said it was working on a solution. There were more than 60,000 reports of an outage on Downdetector, a site that logs issues.
