Tennessee baseball's title defense is off to a great start after a dominating performance vs. Hofstra. The Tennessee Volunteers kicked off their 2025 season in dominant fashion, sweeping Hofstra in a three-game series at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

The defending College World Series champion Volunteers completed the sweep of Hofstra on Sunday with another run-rule victory, 13-1. The Pride opened the scoring with a sac fly in the first inning – its first lead of the entire weekend.
