The final round of the 2025 Open Championship at Royal Portrush will feature Scottie Scheffler trying to convert a four-shot lead into his first Claret Jug and fourth career major title. Scheffler put distance between himself and the field with a Saturday 67 to reach 14 under, four clear of Haotong Li (-10) in second.

Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele and others made strong gains on Saturday, but they are still far off from Scheffler, so they may be relegated to competing for second place. Full list of Sunday tee times can be found on the tournament website.

Brian Harman took dead aim in a mild breeze and surprising sunshine Friday at Royal Portrush for a 6-under 64 that sent him into the weekend hunting another British Open title. He was called the “Butcher of Hoylake” when Harman won the claret jug at Royal Liverpool two years ago because the British press was fascinating by the Georgia native’s love for hunting.

He doesn’t care whether you consider him a worthy British Open champion, which he was two years ago at Royal Liverpool. Harman wants more and, though 36 holes of the 153rd Open at Royal Portrush, he’s put himself in position to hoist the Claret Jug for a second time thanks to a second-round 65 on Thursday.
