If the Dallas Cowboys want to improve their rushing attack in the offseason, one speedy former first-round pick presents an intriguing trade option.

Deion Sanders and Kellen Moore are the two names tied the most often to the Dallas Cowboys since the franchise moved on from Mike McCarthy last Monday.

Sports experts have argued that McCarthy's three (12-5) winning seasons may not have been a strong enough case to keep him in Dallas for a sixth season.

Moore, undrafted out of Boise State, played for the Cowboys from 2015 to 2017 before transitioning into the team's quarterbacks coach in 2018. He was then given the OC responsibilities from 2019 to 2022 and was a holdover from Jason Garrett's staff to McCarthy's.

Dallas has requested to interview Seattle assistant head coach Leslie Frazier for its head coaching vacancy, a person with knowledge of the decision told The Dallas Morning News. Frazier would be the second known name in the Cowboys’ search, joining former New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh.
