The Cleveland Browns signed Lions center Kingsley Eguakun to their active roster off Detroit's practice squad on New Year's Eve.

After their disappointing end to the season that saw them ultimately fall short of claiming their third straight berth in the NFL playoffs, the Detroit Lions decided to part ways with offensive coordinator John Morton after just one season.

Eguakun, 24, had started the first two games of his career in back-to-back weeks. But now the center is heading to Cleveland, per NFL Network.
