Simon Edvinsson pinged a slap shot off the far post for his second goal of the game with 8:25 remaining to finish a rally by the Detroit Red Wings for a 3-2 victory over the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night.

Lauko increased the lead 2-0 at 11:11 with a tap in at the top of the crease after Devin Shore drove through the right circle and slid a pass to the front of the net. It was Lauko’s first game back after missing the past three with a lower-body injury.

The Minnesota Wild and Detroit Red Wings faced off for the second time in three days on Tuesday, Feb. 25, this time in St. Paul, MN. The first was held in Detroit, and the Wild fought back to take that win after dropping behind early.
