The Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees Division held a town hall Saturday in East Palestine discussing rail safety.

Residents of East Palestine, Ohio are demanding answers in the wake of a toxic train derailment, their fury only growing after the train company Norfolk Southern backed out of a town hall meeting.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said 4,832 cubic yards of soil have been removed from the ground in East Palestine and about six truckloads were on the way to Michigan.
