The triceratops is expected to be installed at the museum in 2027 as a permanent exhibit. Once completed, it will be the only full dinosaur skeleton on display in Iowa.

A Ceratosaurus skeleton sold for millions of dollars at auction Wednesday. It had previously been owned by Thanksgiving Point.
