A family is mourning the tragic death of 17-year-old Khalil Wigfall, who police say was fatally stabbed by his mother Sunday at their apartment in Hiram.

In that case, Paulding County Sheriff's Office Deputy Brandon Cunningham, 30, died at a hospital after being shot outside a home home near the city of Hiram, Ga., on Aug. 17.

According to Cobb County fire officials, it happened in the 9000 block of Hill Road, just off Hiram Lithia Springs Road.
