With the promise of an all-star cast led by Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom and Infinity War and Endgame’s creative team back in action, the fifth Avengers movie could bring back much of the franchise’s lost spark.

Following Marvel’s major “Avengers: Doomsday” cast reveal on Wednesday, Paul Rudd — who will be returning in the film as Ant-Man — stopped by “The Tonight Show,” but he wouldn’t give up one single spoiler. As he joked with the NBC host, Marvel is far more secretive than the Trump administration is with military plans.

The Avengers are the Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s secret weapons. Avengers films are the tent pole of the MCU, the movies that the rest is built around. Marvel Studios has, so far, done a fantastic job with most of its Avengers movies,

Simu Liu, who played Shang-Chi in his 2021 standalone film, Letitia Wright as Shuri from the “Black Panther” and previous “Avengers” films, Wyatt Russell as John Walker/U.S. Agent and David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian will also make appearances, Marvel announced.

The upcoming Avengers films have created quite the buzz as Robert Downey Jr. is set to return as Doctor Doom for Avengers: Doomsday and plot details surrounding Avengers: Secret Wars are still brewing.

Born Again episode 5. Daredevil may have had his hands full with a botched bank job during the events of the fifth episode of Daredevil: Born Again, but it was an update surrounding another significant hero that may have laid the foundations for a major team-up in Avengers: Doomsday.
