HUNTINGTON, Mass. (The Westfield News) A successful auction was held for the historic St. Thomas Church on the corner of East Main and Basket Streets Thursday at 1 p.m. on the church grounds.

The Huntington church was built in built in 1890 and is assessed at $201,400. Colebrook Reality Services, of Springfield, had St. Thomas listed for sale with an asking price of $189,000.
