The 2025 Genesis Scottish Open gets underway Thursday (late Wednesday for those of you on the West Coast) at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland. A loaded field is in the United Kingdom for the first of two events in Europe, with the final men's major championship of the year, the Open at Royal Portrush, set for next week.

Chris Gotterup won the 2025 Genesis Scottish Open, securing his biggest career victory and a spot in the Open Championship. Gotterup, ranked 158th in the world before the tournament, held off a competitive field including Rory McIlroy to win by two strokes.

W hile the PGA Tour heads to Scotland for its tuneup ahead of the 2025 Open Championship at the Scottish Open, LIV Golf will be in Spain for LIV Golf Andalucía at Real Club Valderrama. It will serve as the home event for Sergio Garcia's Fireballs squad as well as Jon Rahm as his Legion XIII squad battle at the top of the LIV Golf team standings just behind Bryson DeChambeau's Crushers.
