OpenAI would be interested in buying Google’s Chrome browser if a federal court orders it to be spun off, the head of ChatGPT said in a court hearing Tuesday.

ChatGPT's chief said in open court that OpenAI would be interested in buying Google Chrome if the opportunity presents itself. Nick Turley added that he is deeply worried that OpenAI is facing a lot of difficulties integrating itself into Android smartphones.

As the federal government and Google work through potential remedies for the company’s illegal monopoly over online search, OpenAI is interested in purchasing the Chrome browser, should the court order it be sold off to loosen Google’s grip on the market.
