Yosemite National Park’s superintendent Cicely Muldoon will retire next month, according to an internal email she sent to her staff on Jan. 13 and later shared with SFGATE via a spokesperson.

Cicely Muldoon, 55, has been the park's acting superintendent since January. She has overseen its COVID-19 response, its new day-use reservation system, wildfire issues and other major challenges.
