For 2026, Dodge replaces the base GT model's 3.6-liter V-6 with the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 and slots the 6.4-liter 392 V-8 engine into the R/T trim.

On sale since 2011, this generation of the Durango has outlasted three CEOs and one of Dodge's parent companies without major changes.

The V-8 hits just keep coming from Mopar land, as Dodge revealed on Friday the Durango will drop the V-6 entirely and earn its 6.4-liter Hemi back for 2026.
