An urgent search is underway for twin sisters who went missing in Scotland three days ago. Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, both 32, were last seen walking next to the River Dee in Aberdeen on 7 January. They were spotted on CCTV at around 2.12am but have not been seen since.

Detectives looking for two missing sisters have ended the search of a river and harbour in Aberdeen three weeks after the pair mysteriously vanished. Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, both 32 and part of a set of triplets, were reported missing by their landlady after telling her they planned to end their tenancy.

The sisters were last seen on CCTV taking a 2am walk in freezing temperatures - with no one able to determine why the women were even out at that time in the first place.

A major search operation along the River Dee for Eliza and Henrietta Huszti was ended by police on Monday after nearly three weeks, with efforts continuing along the coast.

Searches of Aberdeen's River Dee and harbour area after two sisters disappeared have now ended. Eliza and Henrietta Huszti were last seen at Victoria Bridge in the early hours of Tuesday 7 January. The 32-year-old sisters - who are from a set of triplets - are originally from Hungary.
