A low-key Murphy, whose "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F" sequel was released straight-to-streaming by Netflix last year, is the responsible adult here. Davidson, the Jerry Lewis to his Dean Martin, portrays a sentimentalized version of the idiots he sometimes plays.
