Klay Thompson doesn't want to hear any talk about potentially regretting his contract with the Dallas Mavericks after the team's season came to an end on Friday with a 120-106 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA play-in tournament.

One of the biggest offseason moves for the Mavericks coming into 2024-25 was signing Warriors veteran wing Klay Thompson, one of the all-time greatest shot-makers and a four-time NBA Champion who would be poised to bring experience and badly needed spot-up shooting to Dallas.

In his first season with the Mavericks, Thompson averaged 14.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.0 assists across 72 games—his lowest scoring average since his rookie campaign. He shot 41.2% from the field and 39.1% from three-point range, continuing to provide his trademark floor spacing despite a dip in production.
