Kyle Hendricks earned the 100th win of his career, Ryan Zeferjahn, Reid Detmers and Kenley Jansen combined for three innings of scoreless relief, and the Los Angeles Angels held on for a 5-4 victory over the Seattle Mariners.

Hendricks’ journey to 100 wins started when he was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the eighth round of the 2011 MLB Draft. He was traded in 2012 and made his big-league debut on July 10, 2014, with the Chicago Cubs. He played for the Cubs through the 2024 season, helping them win the 2016 World Series while leading the league in ERA that season.
