Some of the biggest stars in men's and women's tennis took the court together at the US Open for reimagined mixed doubles competition.

The entire mixed doubles tournament will be played on the U.S. Open's stadium courts: Louis Armstrong Stadium and Arthur Ashe Stadium. Both the semifinal and final matches will take place under the lights on Wednesday at Arthur Ashe for an unparalleled tennis scene.

The No. 1-ranked Sinner, the defending champion in singles at Flushing Meadows, was supposed to compete in mixed doubles with Katerina Siniakova.
