Nottingham Forest fans have been reacting to Tuesday’s news that Newcastle United made a bid to sign Anthony Elanga. That offer of £45m turned down by Nottingham Forest. That offer yesterday was the second one Newcastle United have made for Anthony Elanga, having already seen a bid on deadline day, end of August 2024, also knocked back.

Elanga joined Forest from Manchester United in 2023 for £15 million. A key part of Forest’s attack, he has 11 goals in 83 club appearances and four goals in 21 caps for Sweden. His speed, versatility, and performance under Nuno have made him a target for Newcastle, but for now, Forest are holding firm.
