A couple hours after the shooting, a man was seen being put into handcuffs and placed inside a Norfolk police vehicle.

Old Dominion University said at 11:43 p.m. that the shelter-in-place advisory was lifted, but that a police presence remains in the area.

Two people suffered injuries from a shooting that took place in a parking lot at Old Dominion University Wednesday, according to Norfolk police.

Two people have life-threatening injuries after being shot in a parking lot on West 49th Street in the area of Broderick Dining Commons on the Old Dominion University campus Wednesday night, Norfolk and ODU police said.
