John Deere continues to cut jobs, this time in Ottumwa, as the farm economy struggles and the company's profit outlook declines.

John Deere has announced another round of layoffs at its Ottumwa, Iowa plant. In a statement to Brownfield, the company says approximately 75 production employees will be placed on indefinite layoff effective February 7th.

Monday was also the first day out of a job for 112 workers at John Deere Waterloo Works after the layoffs announced in December.
