On Friday, the Pittsburgh Steelers got back to work on their second day of training camp. Practice got cut short because of the weather but it didn't stop the Steelers from getting in some good work in. Day One of practice was highlighted by a big interception by Aaron Rodgers on his first throw in team drills and guys battling the heat.

The Steelers were set on getting safety help Friday. Per The 33rd Team’s Ari Meirov and the NFL transaction sheet, Pittsburgh worked out veteran safety Marcus Williams today. As previously reported, the Steelers also worked out and eventually signed safety Chuck Clark. However, Williams didn’t get a deal on Friday.
The Pittsburgh Steelers might be looking into Aaron Rodgers beyond this upcoming season, according to general manager Omar Khan.
Through two unpadded practices at Saint Vincent College, that puzzle is starting to come together. The Steelers have been playing a heavy dose of nickel defense with Ramsey in the slot. Meanwhile, Joey Porter Jr. and Darius Slay have lined up outside. DeShon Elliott has played strong safety and Juan Thornhill has been in the post at free safety.
