JMU has 418 yards and scored on six of its ten first-half drives. Dukes quarterback Alonzo Barnett has 288 passing yards, three passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns, while the JMU defense also returned a blocked punt for a touchdown.

JMU, which struggled offensively in a lackluster 13-6 win over Gardner-Webb two weeks ago, before a bye week, “had a lot that we had to clean up and fix."

The UNC defense was in shambles in the game against James Madison as the visiting team had a lead of 11 points in the first five minutes. The offense tried hard to take the team out of the deficit but an uncooperative defense ended the game in a loss for the team. In the worst defensive shows of all time, the UNC team gave up 70 points.
