
What’s the best ceramic coating you’ve seen over the years?
Best coating I’ve used and has lasted 4-5 Years on all my clients cars and they become lifelong customers in my experience. For a consumer coating, I’d say CQuartz UK 3.0 is probably the best coating you can “buy off the shelve. 2 layers will last 3-3.5 years in my experience.

If you dont want to use a pro ceramic coating then try one of the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions spray on ceramic coatings. Two coats will last about 6 months to a year. Gives a super glossy and slick finish with water beading and can be used on glass and trim.

A ceramic coating does not come in a spray bottle. A ceramic coating does need ppe. A ceramic coating crystallizes when exposed to air (if a spray did this, the nozzle would clog). Jan 30, 2023 · But for a coating-lite type of product I’ve had good experiences with Gyeon Cancoat, Adam’s ceramic spray coating, and Griot’s 3 in 1 ceramic spray. The cancoat and Adam’s go on more like a true coating so I’d polish beforehand. The Griots applies more like a spray wax, but I’ve really been loving the Griots, it’s very impressive.

Hi guys, recently got my car fully PPF and ceramic coated. The installers gave me instructions on how to maintain and prolong the longevity of the ceramic coating and PPF life. They said wash weekly and no waxes,etc. They use Armor All Ceramic car wash soap and they recommended it, it’s what they use for their shop.

For me, yes...definately worth it. I like clean cars but don't really like cleaning cars and the right coating can help considerably in that area. Not perfect, but helpful. While ceramic coatings are often marketed as ‘scratch resistant’, with spiffy phrases like “Diamond-Infused 10h Hardness” it’s largely an irrelevant.
