Jan 23, 2025 · I recall, that Spotify used to have a "wallpaper" widget, which would make song that you were listening to appear as a lock screen wallpaper, instead of just a little box at the top of the screen. Is it still possible to turn on this feature on Android? If yes, how to do it?

Apr 1, 2021 · Well it didn't use to do that a couple of months ago. So this is a new change in how it works. Before this I had a beutiful living wallpaper and the spotify interface was just a small row at the bottom of the screen. An inch at the most. So they changed something that they need to change back or make optional.

It might also help to check your phone's Customization> Wallpaper settings in case there is something in there linked to Spotify. You can try disabling automatic Wallpaper change under Daily lock screen wallpaper.

Apr 27, 2022 · At this point it is not possible to change the artwork displayed in full screen mode on the desktop app, but as we at Spotify constantly try to improve the user experience within the app, we hope to see this feature implemented some day.
