Therefore, the final number the guest sees includes the Airbnb Guest Service Fee on top of what your offer is; there should be no taxes, as you are doing the 30+ minimum.

Jan 25, 2025 · Nightly Rate + Cleaning Fee (or other fees) + Airbnb Service Fee . If a Host decides not to charge a cleaning fee, that will obviously reduce the taxable amount. As I mentioned, Airbnb doesn't always get the taxes right. Sometimes they apply the wrong TAID (Tax Area ID Number) to a listing and of course the taxes will be wrong.

I just got my earnings report for 2024 and my 1099-k and it’s shows no taxes paid on the 1089-k(even tough every rentals shows I paid tax) and my report shows some taxes but it’s not the correct amount. If I file my 1099-k I will have to pay taxes again.
