I wanted to share one of the ways that I make my bird feet/legs. These are not anatomically correct, but they are strong and give my sculptures lots of support to stand on. First I twist the wire together to create the feet. In this case I used a 17 gauge wire, but I use thinner or heavier weights based on the size of my bird.
