Today I cut new stringers for six steps and finally connected the ground level to the middle platform. In total, there are seven stringers on each side. According to Florida Code Approved standards, the edges of the stairs require two stringers installed together, with the next ones spaced 16–24 inches apart. I decided to go with 12 inches on center for composite decking to make sure there’s absolutely no flex. The result turned out great. #decking #deckingflorida #compositedecking
