George Brooks Veikoso (1970 – 2025), professionally known as Fiji, was a Fijian-born, Hawaii-based singer, songwriter, and producer whose fusion of reggae, R&B, soul, and Polynesian traditions helped define the Island Reggae sound. Over three decades, he became one of the Pacific’s most influential recording artists and cultural ambassadors. Fiji died in Suva, Fiji, in 2025 at age 55.
