Here's a rough sketch to help give a visual of what your stride direction should be based off of where your back foot starts. This is a right handed batter. The Blue set of feet are an example of what we see with most hitters that have their back foot toeing the chalk line. Most often we see them step out/step open. The Red set of feet are an example of what we see with most hitters that are more in a neutral, happy medium distance from home plate. They stride straight towards the pitcher. The P

These are just a few keys that help no stride hitters still hit for power and consistency. Notice how once the heel hits the swing mechanics look the same as any hitter.
