JURASSIC BELLOW 🐨 How's this for a Wild Wednesday Fun Fact... 🌿 Male koalas produce a distinctive, low-frequency bellow to attract mates and establish territory - something people in our region will be hearing alot over the next 6 months with breeding season starting! These bellows are much deeper and more powerful than the typical high-pitched squeaks associated with koalas. But did you know that the koala bellow was used to inspire the sound of the T-Rex in the original Jurrasic Park movie?

‘Chuck’ my best friend has been under the weather of late. At nine years of age he is considered in his senior years. With the on-set of the cold winter weather, ‘Chuck’ developed a bout of pneumonia. He came in side our house for treatment, and is slowly on the mend with 24/7 care and patience. Caring for animals can be rewarding, but it is a huge responsibility…. and not without a lot of heartache.
