Gideon is the original green bird in the green bird brigade and the reason we are called that. He is incredibly intelligent and adorable but don’t let that fool you. Like most parrots, eclectus parrots are a lot of work. They are messy, loud, and often struggle with hormone issues. They also tend to be more hands off and independent than some other parrot species. And, while Gideon has a pretty large vocabulary, there are no guarantees that a bird will talk, even if they can. #gideon #eclectus |
